Sub-Zero refrigeration in Newton
Newton Centre and the villages around it are shingled Victorians and 1920s colonials, nearly all with kitchens rebuilt at least once and refrigeration set flush with the cabinets. Tight rear entries and turning basement stairs shape how a column comes out.

What a visit runs into here
Village kitchens here have nearly all been rebuilt at least once, and the refrigeration ends up flush with the cabinets on a run that leaves nothing at the sides. Rear entries are tight and the basement stairs usually turn, so if a column does have to come out it goes out the front. Driveways are short — say so when you book and the van parks accordingly.
The flat $95 service call is the same in every town on this list — it does not move with the postcode.

It filled with water and then never harvested. The module thermostat had failed and the inlet screen was partly blocked. Both dealt with in one visit, and he checked the shut off valve under the sink while he was here.

Frost was creeping around the door seal and the compressor kept clicking off after a minute or two. A start relay had failed and the seal had hardened. He carried both parts and was done inside a couple of hours.

Temperature alarm on the display with nothing obviously wrong inside. He put gauges on and found a slow leak at a brazed joint rather than a board fault. Repaired and recharged, and the alarm has not come back.
