Frost had built up across the back panel again after another company simply scraped it away. He found a defrost sensor reading out of range, replaced it and thawed the cavity properly. No frost since spring.

Ice cream soft while the ice maker seemed fine, so I assumed something minor. It was a failing evaporator fan motor. He had one with him, changed it, then stayed for a full cycle before calling it done.

Deep in February the drawer stopped sealing and everything inside glazed over with frost. The rail was bent, from being overloaded I suspect. He straightened it, put on a new gasket and levelled the cabinet so the drawer shuts under its own weight.
